DESCRIPTION:The final concert in our Historic Times Season will be based around London and the Olympics. The programme will include medleys from Sweeney Todd and Oliver!, Bob Chilcott’s cantata Songs and Cries of London Town, Gareth Malone’s Sing London! and much more. We will also be performing The Timeless Way of Cities, by award-winning composer Raymond Yiu, which was written for Tamesis last year as a commission for the Whitley Arts Festival.
