We’re joining forces with the fabulous Trinity Concert Band to present Trinity & Tamesis – Live in Concert, a double whammy of wonderful choral and instrumental music.
One of the highlights will be our performance of Bob Chilcott’s Five Days that Changed the World. It’s an energetic and uplifting 15 minute suite that takes you through five momentous events, from the invention of the printing press to the first human in space.
Here’s what our lovely friends at Trinity are saying about the rest of the concert…
“Back by popular demand, we’re excited to be reuniting with the incredible Tamesis Chamber Choir for a dazzling evening of iconic classical music, famous numbers from stage and screen and much more!
The band will open the concert in style with a rousing performance of Summon the Heroes, composed by John Williams for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
We’ll team up with Tamesis for Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine and Hubert Parry’s I Was Glad (performed at the Coronation of King Charles III), as well as John Williams’ uplifting Dry Your Tears, Afrika from the film Amistad.
Continuing the John Williams theme, Tamesis will provide a beautiful vocal accompaniment to the stirring Hymn to the Fallen from Saving Private Ryan.
Then we guarantee to get your toes tapping with a fantastic Earth, Wind & Fire medley featuring ‘Fantasy’, ‘September’ and ‘Let’s Groove’.
We anticipate high demand for this concert, so please book your place for one of our stand-out concerts of the year!”

Tamesis and Trinity last teamed up back in 2019 for the Classical Spectacular concert at the same venue which was a truly memorable evening.
