The second in our set of two concerts on the theme of Flora and Fauna, this concert will feature Reading’s most famous piece of music, Sumer is icumen in, the earliest transcription of music ever found, which was discovered at Reading Abbey. We will also be performing Horowitz’s ever-popular Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo, a selection of folk songs with themes from nature, a medley from Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed musical Cats! and much more.
