Louise auditions all new members of Tamesis before they join. The one-to-one audition is about ten minutes long and nothing to be nervous about. Bring a solo piece to sing (Louise will accompany you if there’s a piano part) and expect a sight-reading exercise and range tests, as well as a friendly chat about your previous singing groups and what you’re hoping for from Tamesis.
All current and prospective members of the choir re-audition each year in September. New members may be able to join at other times during the year if a space opens up, subject to an audition.
