This summer we have a gorgeous programme lined up of songs relating to the town and the countryside. In fact, it’s so good we’re singing it twice! Our first concert will be at Queen Anne’s School in their lovely School Hall. Queen Anne’s is a great venue with plentiful parking which is really easy to get to from all areas of Reading, and from Henley and Oxfordshire too.

Bob Chilcott’s lively and busy Songs and Cries of London Town will be contrasted with John Rutter’s more pastoral Birthday Madrigals, and there will be plenty more on offer including countryside classics such as Linden Lea and The Lark in the Clear Air and city stunners like A Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square.
